How to Make a deliciously spooky dirt chocolate pudding for Halloween

Dirt pudding is one of the tastiest and easiest dessert concoctions, and for Halloween this year, spook-ify the avenger dirt pudding with layers of yummy worms, sticks and ghosts. This fun-to-assemble chocolate pudding layered with crushed sandwich cookies, pretzels and lots of creepy crawlies is easy and great for the kids. The finishing touches of white chocolate ghosts and gravestones plus a hefty helping of candy corn and pumpkins are things that make you go "Boo!"

INGREDIENTS:

Pudding

* 1 cup sugar

* ¼ tsp salt

* 2 tbsp cornstarch

* 2 cups whole milk

* 2 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate, chopped

* 2 egg yolks, room temperature

* 2 tbsp butter

* 2 tsp vanilla extract

Layers

* 1 pkg chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed

* handful of pretzels

* gummy worms

Graveyard Decorations

* white chocolate ghosts & tombstones (see How To instructions)

* candy corn

* candy pumpkins

Special Equipment

* medium size skillet

* whisk

* plastic wrap

* clear serving bowl
