How to Make fresh strawberry tarts

fresh strawberries, less than a pound of them

6 egg yolks

2 cups milk

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup flour

2 Tablespoons butter

1 Tablespoon vanilla

8 ounces of apricot jam

2 Tablespoons sugar

Pie crust
