Make perfect chocolate covered strawberries

Here is a take on a cheap but very romantic valentines gift that your loved ones would truly enjoy. Here's how to make your perfect chocolate dipped strawberries. Gather the ingredients that you'll be needing: a batch of chocolate chips (dark and white chocolate) and 16 oz strawberries. Prepare also the following cooking utensils: 1 pot and 2 heat proof bowls along with a laid out foil or wax paper (whichever is available to you). Start by cleaning and rinsing strawberries along with their stems intact. Pat them dry with a tissue paper, making sure all of them are dry all the way. Make a double broiler by filling a pot with 2 inches of water and place this on top of a stove with low heat. Add 1-1/2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips (dark) to one of the heat proof bowls. Place the bowl with chocolate chips on top of pot with water and place these on top of stove with low heat settings. Stir the chocolate until it is smooth and well melted. Do the same process with the white chocolate. Take the bowl of melted dark chocolate and take each dried strawberries and turn them in the chocolate until covered around halfway. Place the chocolate covered strawberries on a wax paper or foil, whichever is available to you. Do the same process to all the strawberries. Take the chocolate strawberries and dip the tip in the white chocolate. Take a fork and gently move upward creating a marbled spiked design on the chocolate mixture. Remove from wax paper/foil and place in air tight container. Chill them and enjoy once the chocolate hardens.
